We believe quality time does not mean staring at the computer screens, smartphones, or TV.

Despite all of us being from different backgrounds, we have one thing in common. We love playing games.

Not the kind that involve staring at a computer screen like a zombie!

But the kind that involve spending quality time with our friends and family.

The good, old-fashioned card games, board games, chess, and the rest.

While society seems to want us to be permanently attached to smartphones, laptops and smart TV screens, we're putting our foot down!

Some of our favorite memories from childhood involve playing games with grandparents, friends coming over to play monopoly or cards, and sitting around a dining table with the whole family playing rummy, or just playing chess with dad.

As we became adults, we stuck to that.

When we have friends over, we don't want to stare at the latest Netflix show...

We actually want to hang out with them!

Call us crazy, but to us people are much more interesting than machines!

And as has been said, poker is a game of people, not cards. But not only poker. Any card game, or even board game.

Whether it's for a family evening, or having friends over for a beer, we made it our mission to put the focus back on people.

It's been proven many times over that playing computer games and watching TV increases social isolation.

So we figure, why spend time on isolating activities when you wan't to enjoy spending time with people? It just doesn't make sense, right?

So we have the answer - for your next social event, organize a game evening.

If you have never done it before, you will be amazed at how much fun it can be! If you've done it before, we're likely preaching to the converted.

So that's our little rant and call for action - switch off the TV and spend time with loved ones around a game that you like!

If you need inspiration, hop on over to our blog, where you will find plenty of ideas for your next game night.

You see we love games and it so happens that we also like to play them on proper game tables, as we believe it increases the pleasure and fun for everybody.

It's also easier to convince friends to join us for a game if we can entertain them in style. ;)

So now you know why we opened this shop.

We spend so much time looking into the best game tables for ourselves, we figured why not help others with this as well!

And when we're not playing games and having fun, we spend time making sure your experience with our shop is smooth and enjoyable.

Thanks for stopping by!

Your team,

Jack, Elisabeth, and Trish.
